There are a couple of fixes in the 1.5 Update for “Fallout 4,” which is detailed in the link above. This means that anyone who will upgrade to the beta and is thinking of opting out should not use Survival character saved games. The developer did note that the Survival difficulty characters are not backward compatible with the 1.4 version. The characters that are set to Survival difficulty will appear under their respective Character Selection filter. The entire list can be viewed via the in-game Help menu. The new features for Survival Mode include no fast travel, saving when sleeping and increased lethality, diseases, fatigue danger and more. Together with this, the update will also include support for Far Harbor, the next DLC for “Fallout 4.” There are also some notable gameplay optimisations that were incorporated during the first closed beta run.
